Services We Provide

Individual Therapy

$140

Trying to find balance can be challenging at times, overwhelming, especially when you are navigating multiple roles, such as being a caregiver, parent, guardian of a loved one, spouse, widow/widower, dealing with college and/or work-related stress, or just trying to identify who you are. Life should be about finding balance, but as we all know, life comes at us fast and at times unexpectedly. Therapy can provide you with a safe, compassionate space to rediscover yourself and navigate life’s challenges. Individual therapy can provide clarity, build resilience, and empower you to create a more fulfilling life.

Adolescent/Teen Therapy

$140

Being a preteen/teen can be challenging, confusing, and complex; my goal is to meet weekly for therapy as this could allow your preteen/teen an opportunity to build a therapeutic relationship outside of their immediate circles (family/friends) to help them feel heard, understood, and in a space that allows them to process their feelings in a healthy way. My goal is to help you feel supported and teach you ways to express yourself effectively, so you don't suppress your thoughts and feelings. Teens often find me relatable and trustworthy, and parents who have struggled for years to find the right therapist have referred to me as the “teen whisperer.”

Family Therapy

$160

Is your family struggling with navigating changes such as adoption, blending families, divorce, grief and loss, mental health challenges, or trauma? As a parent, are you concerned about your relationship with your child and unsure how to support them? I use approaches such as structural and strategic family therapy interventions to create a safe space for you and your child(ren) to learn and practice new ways to communicate and develop new rituals to strengthen your relationship. I aim to help each member feel heard and learn ways to strengthen their communication and relationships.

Sexual Education

$160
Group:  $60 per person

Sexual education is not treatment. Just education only. Healthy sexual development is an important part of growth for children, teens, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Many parents share that conversations about sex feel uncomfortable, which can lead to avoiding the topic altogether. When this happens, youth often turn to peers, social media, or pornography for answers sources that may be inaccurate or unsafe. Without open, supportive guidance from caregivers, young people can become more vulnerable to manipulation, grooming, or exploitation by individuals they know or strangers online. Our approach empowers families with knowledge, language, and confidence to have ongoing, healthy conversations about sexual development, helping youth feel informed, supported, and safe. (Coming May 2026).

Specialized Services

Once it is determined that an assessment can be completed, you will receive the required paperwork along with a Good Faith Estimate (GFE). Please note that insurance companies do not cover the cost of trauma or risk assessments; therefore, payment is required out of pocket.

The assessment process begins with an initial session that includes an interview with the identified youth and their parent and/or guardian. This session may be conducted in person or virtually, depending on what is most appropriate. As part of the evaluation, relevant information may also be gathered from sources such as the juvenile court, the Department of Child Services, or law enforcement agencies. A history of the child’s sexual behaviors or any known sexual abuse experiences will be reviewed as part of the assessment.

Additional interviews may be conducted with family members, therapists, or other individuals who can provide helpful collateral information. For this reason, the child’s legal guardian will be asked to sign Release of Information forms for any third parties the evaluator needs to contact. All pertinent legal and clinical documents will be collected and reviewed. As part of best practice, standardized assessment tools may also be administered to support the overall evaluation process.

Trauma Assessments

We conduct a comprehensive trauma assessment for youth aged 9 to 17. This assessment consists of a structured interview with the client and their parent or guardian. Its purpose is to gather information about the client’s family background and their mental, social, and emotional experiences related to trauma. We aim to understand how trauma has affected the client’s mental health and overall well-being. This assessment is essential for identifying trauma-related symptoms, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and anxiety. The information collected helps establish the client's diagnostic criteria and informs the treatment planning process. The interviews and information-gathering can take up to two days to complete. Additionally, the finalized report may take up to three weeks, depending on the interview dates and the amount of information collected. Trauma assessments vary in length depending on the level of detail required. Brief screenings may take approximately 30–60 minutes, while standard clinical assessments typically take 1.5 to 3 hours and may be completed over one or multiple sessions. More comprehensive or specialized assessments (such as those for diagnostic clarification or court-related purposes) may take 3 to 6 or more hours and can include clinical interviews, standardized assessment tools, and a written report. To support comfort and emotional safety, assessments may be scheduled across multiple sessions. The total fee for a trauma assessment is $1,000. A deposit of $500 is required prior to scheduling, with the remaining balance due before receiving the final written report.

Risk Assessment

We provide comprehensive and timely risk assessments for youth ages 12–17. Memorie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a credentialed Sexually Abusive Youth Clinician (CSAYC), trained to evaluate concerns related to problematic or harmful sexual behaviors. The purpose of a risk assessment is to help identify the origins of a young person’s sexualized behavior and evaluate their level of risk for engaging in future sexual offending. These assessments also clarify treatment needs and help determine the most appropriate treatment setting. A risk assessment does not determine guilt or innocence, nor does it label a child as a “sex offender.” Risk assessments are often recommended or required by the court, child protective services, or treatment providers. They incorporate all relevant information, including family and peer relationships, mental health history, academic functioning, sexual history, accountability, empathy, understanding of harm caused, and motivation for change. Completing a risk assessment typically requires approximately 10 hours, though the exact timeframe may vary based on individual circumstances and case complexity. This process includes direct assessment time, scoring and interpretation of assessment tools, gathering collateral information, reviewing records, and preparing a comprehensive written summary of findings and recommendations. The total fee for a risk assessment is $1,120. A deposit of $560 is required prior to scheduling, with the remaining balance due before results are released or the final report is provided.
