What I Do
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
ADHD is a neurodevelopmental condition that can impact focus, organization, and daily functioning. I support individuals in building practical skills for time management, organization, and emotional regulation to improve overall functioning and confidence.
Depression & Anxiety
I work with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety by helping identify triggers, develop effective coping strategies, and restore a sense of balance. Treatment focuses on improving mood, reducing worry, increasing motivation, and reconnecting with meaningful activities and relationships.
Grief and Loss
A compassionate place to navigate the pain of grief — helping you process complex emotions, adjust to life’s changes, and discover meaning as you move through your healing journey.
Life Transitions
Whether they are planned or unexpected, these events can evoke complex emotions and disrupt your sense of normalcy. Such experiences may include changes in relationships, shifts in careers, role reversals, transitions in parenting, adjustments to blended families, or significant life events that reshape your daily routines.
Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
I support children, adolescents, and families in addressing patterns of defiance and conflict. Treatment focuses on strengthening communication, increasing emotional awareness, and developing healthier behavioral responses within the family system.
Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
I provide trauma-informed care to support individuals in processing difficult experiences, reducing distressing symptoms, and rebuilding a sense of safety and stability.
Sexual Maladaptive Behavior
I support children ages 12-17, who engage in sexual actions that are not considered developmentally appropriate, safe, or consensual. These behaviors often stem from underlying trauma, exposure to harmful situations, unmet needs, or lack of supervision, rather than from an inherent desire to cause harm. To effectively intervene, it is essential to adopt a balanced, non-shaming, and developmentally informed approach.
